About
Joybeth Taylor

Award-winning songwriter Joybeth Taylor has emerged as one of the most exciting young songwriters in country music, combining an instinct for honest, conversational lyrics with a rapidly growing catalog of songs recorded by some of music’s biggest artists.

‍

The Pelham, Alabama native is a co-writer of Ella Langley’s record-breaking “Choosin’ Texas,” which reached #1 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 and became the longest-running #1 song in the chart’s history. The song was named the 2026 ACM Song of the Year, NSAI Song of the Year, and MusicRow Song of the Year, and is nominated for the 2026 CMA Song of the Year.

‍

Taylor also co-wrote Langley’s “Weren’t For The Wind,” her first #1 country radio hit and the 2025 MusicRow Song of the Year, as well as “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” recorded by Langley and Morgan Wallen, which reached the Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

‍

Her relationship with Langley has become one of the most prolific songwriter-artist collaborations in contemporary country music. Taylor co-wrote six songs on Langley’s debut album, Hungover, additional songs for its deluxe edition, and 12 songs on her 2026 album, Dandelion.

‍

Taylor’s growing catalog also includes songs recorded by Morgan Wallen, Jordan Davis, Kane Brown, Warren Zeiders, Gavin Adcock, Corey Kent, Josh Ross, Koe Wetzel, Kameron Marlowe, Hudson Westbrook, Chase Matthew, Vincent Mason, Zach John King, and others.

‍

Taylor has earned multiple MusicRow Award nominations, including Female Songwriter of the Year in 2025 and 2026 and Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year in 2025.
