David Hodges is a Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum songwriter, producer, and artist whose work has sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
A founding member of the rock band Evanescence, he co-wrote the global hits “My Immortal,” “Going Under,” and “Bring Me To Life” from their landmark album Fallen, helping earn two Grammy Awards and launching a career that has since spanned rock, pop, country, and beyond.
His catalog includes some of the most recognizable songs of the past two decades, including Evanescence’s “My Immortal” and “Bring Me To Life,” Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Because of You,” Carrie Underwood’s “See You Again,” Kelsea Ballerini’s “Miss Me More,” and Ed Sheeran’s “2step.”
David has also co-written several songs with Ed Sheeran, including “Afterglow,” “First Times,” and most recently “Camera,” as well as Dan + Shay’s “Say So,” P!nk’s “When I Get There,” Ben Rector’s “Brand New,” and Daughtry’s “What About Now.”
