Patrick Murphy is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter signed to Warner Music Nashville, whose heartland roots and early piano training shape a sound that sits at the intersection of country and pop. Born and raised in Perham, MN, Murphy began playing piano at age three and first performed in his local church. Over time, he added singing and built his stage chops performing in restaurants and live settings.
Influenced by the likes of Billy Joel, Elton John, Journey, The Script, Rascal Flatts, Dan + Shay, and Rob Thomas, he’s developed a fresh voice that melds emotional storytelling with sweeping melodic hooks.
Murphy has hit a number of important milestones: he earned both a publishing deal and a major label record deal, co-wrote Tim McGraw’s #1 hit “Standing Room Only,” and has had the chance to open for major country stars like Maren Morris, Kane Brown, Kip Moore, and Maddie & Tae.
At just 26, Patrick has already released work such as the Half the Story EP, with tracks like “Snow’s Not the Only Thing Falling,” “You Ain’t Alone,” and “Looking Back.” He continues to tour, connect with fans, and prepare new music to share with the world.
