Asongwriter behind nine #1 songs spanning rock, country, and R&B,along with numerous Top 10 hits across multiple genres, Marti's breakthroughcame through a longtime collaboration with Aerosmith after being introduced tothe band by legendary A&R executive John Kalodner. He co-wrote and producedmuch of Aerosmith's album JustPush Play, including the international hit "Jaded,"launching a songwriting and production career that would lead to collaborationswith some of the biggest names in music.
Overthe years, Marti has written and produced hits for artists including Aerosmith,Carrie Underwood, Ozzy Osbourne, Daughtry, Ne-Yo, Ayron Jones, Gavin Rossdale,and Buckcherry, while also collaborating with Def Leppard, FaithHill, Mick Jagger, Sheryl Crow, P!nk, Eminem, Steven Tyler, and manyothers.
Beyondthe recording studio, Marti provided the lead vocals for the fictional bandStillwater in the Academy Award-winning film AlmostFamous. He also received an Ivor Novello Award for Best Song in aMotion Picture for "The Flame Still Burns" from Still Crazy and earned aGolden Globe nomination for the same film.
