Lydia Vaughan is a Nashville hit songwriter whose powerful melodies and relatable storytelling have landed her cuts with some of the biggest artists in country music. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Lydia’s musical journey began in church and choir before fronting an independent alternative rock band in high school — an experience that gave her early insight into collaboration, creativity, and life on the road.
In 2015, she moved to Nashville to pursue songwriting full-time, and in 2020 she signed her first publishing deal with Cornman Music & Warner Chappell. Lydia’s breakout success came with the Jason Aldean & Carrie Underwood smash duet “If I Didn’t Love You” — a 3-week #1 hit that debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, the highest debut for a male/female duet in chart history.
Since then, Lydia has continued to deliver hitst, including Carrie Underwood’s “Out Of That Truck”, Corey Kent’s “Man Of The House”, and Jordan Davis’ chart-topping “Bar None”.
