Josh Jenkins is a CMA Award-winning, multi-platinum Nashville songwriter and the longtime lead singer of the acclaimed band Green River Ordinance. During his 15 years with GRO, the band topped the Billboard Heatseekers Chart multiple times and saw their music featured in numerous TV and film placements.
As a songwriter, Josh’s work has been recorded by Walker Hayes, Jordan Davis, Dustin Lynch, Randy Houser, and many others. He co-wrote the viral, RIAA Platinum-certified smash hit “Fancy Like” by Walker Hayes — a song that spent over 10 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, reached the Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, and dominated sales and streaming charts. The track’s TikTok-fueled popularity led to a national Applebee’s campaign and a remix featuring Grammy-nominated pop star Kesha.
Josh also co-wrote the Jordan Davis #1 single “Buy Dirt” featuring Luke Bryan — which he wrote with his brother Matt Jenkins — earning them the 2022 CMA Award for Song of the Year. The brothers teamed up again for Jordan Davis’ #1 hit “Tucson Too Late”.
