A Songwriter City experience brings hit songwriters (the actual creators behind songs you know and love) to your event to perform and tell the stories behind the music. It’s raw, real, entertaining, and incredibly moving. Think of it as a behind-the-scenes experience that breaks the fourth wall and deeply connects with your audience.

Why should I book songwriters instead of booking an artist or band to perform?

Who are the songwriters? Can we choose who performs?

Our roster includes some of the most successful and acclaimed songwriters in the world — GRAMMY, CMA, & ACM winners, Hall of Famers, chart-toppers, and behind-the-scenes legends. We’ll curate the perfect lineup based on your audience, event goals, and vibe. If you have someone in mind or want to explore options, we’re happy to guide you through the process.

Do the songwriters interact with the audience?

Yes, and that’s a key part of the immersive experience. The show naturally fosters banter between the songwriters and guests, creating a conversational and engaging atmosphere. We can also incorporate a Q&A if desired. The exchange is organic and never forced, adding depth and authenticity to the experience while making a lasting impact.

Is this appropriate for an audience that doesn’t know country music?

Absolutely! While many of our songwriters are from Nashville, their hits span across genres including pop, rock, R&B, Christian, Americana, and more. Even if the songwriter or artist names aren’t familiar, your audience will recognize the songs and connect with the powerful stories behind them. The universal themes resonate with any music lover, making it an experience that transcends genre.

Do you have songwriters from other genres, in addition to country music?

Definitely. We work with top writers across multiple genres. Whether your audience leans toward country, pop, rock or R&B, we’ll customize the lineup to match the tone and taste of your event.

What is the ideal audience size for this type of experience?

It works beautifully for groups of 10 to 2,000+.  In a smaller setting, the experience becomes incredibly intimate. In a large room, it becomes powerful and immersive. We scale the show to fit your space and energy and bring in the perfect songwriters who can command the setting.

Event Format

What types of events is this best suited for?

Our experiences are perfect for corporate events, leadership summits, incentive trips, client appreciation events, association meetings, conferences, charity events, and private VIP dinners. From general sessions to gala award dinners, we’ve done it all. If your goal is to create a truly unforgettable moment, this is the perfect fit.

How long is the performance or experience?

Shows can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the number of songwriters on stage and how it fits into your agenda. We’ve done shorter high-impact sets or extended experiences that include Q&A or audience interaction. We’re flexible and will help shape the right format for your needs.

Can this work in a smaller setting or does it require a big stage?

It’s fully scalable. We’ve done living rooms, breakout rooms, theaters, private spaces, and mainstage ballrooms. It doesn’t require a big production setup — just the right environment and attention to detail. That’s where we shine.

Is this a music performance, a speaker session—or both?

It’s its own thing—a one-of-a-kind experience that combines the best of both worlds. You get the entertainment of a live performance and the emotional depth of a speaker session, all seamlessly woven together. Whether it’s an opening keynote, closing session, after-dinner entertainment, or mid-day inspiration, it’s a truly unique, versatile and unforgettable experience.

Can this be combined with a keynote speaker or another part of our agenda?

Yes. Some clients pair us with a leadership keynote, industry panel, fireside chat, or awards presentation. We can also frame the songwriter session around your event theme to create a seamless flow.

Can you customize the experience to fit our event theme or message?

Absolutely. Whether your focus is collaboration, innovation, resilience, or company culture — we’ll align the stories, songs, and flow to support your message. We love helping create experiences that mean something to the audience and make a true connection.

Logistics

Do you travel outside of Nashville?

Yes, absolutely! While Nashville is our home base, we regularly produce shows across the country and beyond — from Texas to California to Florida. No matter where you’re located, we have access to top-tier talent to make your event a success.

How far in advance do we need to book?

The earlier, the better — especially for high-demand songwriters or peak seasons. That said, we’ve pulled off unforgettable shows in just a matter of days. Just reach out and we’ll see what’s possible.

What do we need to provide on-site?

It’s surprisingly simple: basic AV (mics, monitors, sound system, a few stools, etc.), a stage or performance area, and a room layout that supports connection. We’ll walk you through everything. If you have an AV team or vendor, we’ll collaborate with them directly.

Is this a turn-key experience? Do you handle all the details?

Yes, it’s a turn-key experience. While we don’t have a dedicated venue or provide sound, we handle everything else — from managing the talent and show design to travel, coordination, and pre-event planning. You’ll have a single point of contact for a seamless experience, giving you and your team peace of mind every step of the way.
